
This course, featuring Dr. Denise Scott and Dr. TyWanda McLaurin-Jones from Howard University School of Medicine, provides an overview of SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) program for Substance Use Disorder, with the goal of increasing insight and motivating positive behavioral change. You'll learn some background on SBIRT and also have the chance to watch a brief simulation exercise, demonstrating how SBIRT is conducted between a patient and provider.
